Actors Tom Hardy, Casey Affleck, and Edie Falco have collaborated for the new PETA US video to encourage dog owners to treat their dogs as another member of the family rather than leaving them outside, chained up in the cold to be hungry and alone. The stars offer their voices to the voiceless so that the dogs in such conditions are looked after as they should be; ensuing these animals are brought inside and loved.

TV host Bill Maher, actor Priyanka Chopra, rapper D.R.A.M., Latina superstar Kate del Castillo, and reality star Courtney Stodden also got involved in the project. They voiced over the footage of neglected dogs that has been witness by PETA US fieldworkers.

The video starts with the shot of a dog chained up outside in the snow- alone. Hardy asks, "When you first got me, did you know that you were going to chain me up and leave me outside? Even in the cold and snow?"

As another dog stands up to avoid getting wet in a large puddle, actor Affleck adds, "Did you know that you would leave me to fend for myself, even when it was pouring down rain and I had no way of keeping dry?" At the video's end, Hardy asks, "If you did, then why did you get me at all?" before this message appears: "Treat dogs like family".

The dogs in the video were filmed near the PETA US Headquarters where the fieldworkers are there 24/7 to help animals in need. They offer free shelter, straw bedding, food water and veterinary care as well as anything else the dogs need to over 250 communities in the surrounding area.
