The first run of the badges we so popular- they sold out- but fear not as Alex Monroe’s wedding favour pin badges are available again to order online exclusively for Cancer Research UK.

Mrs Chicken

Alex Monroe’s unique style of delicate detail and charm are evident in the pins, which express the bride and groom via the animal kingdom. They have been cast from the originals- so fans of the first run won’t be disappointed and come in a gold plated finish.

The birds are just one of the large range of wedding favours designed to aid Cancer Research UK, including badges, wristbands and for-me-not flowers.

Couples who want to raise money for a good cause on their wedding day can order these pins with personalised cards that display their names and wedding date.

All the guests can take the badges home as a keepsake, however it is a way to remember someone the bride and groom have lost or to celebrate one of the wedding party who has survived cancer.

Cancer Research UK asks that couples make a suggested donation per favour (£2.50 per Mr and Mrs Chicken pin badge) which goes towards the charity’s life-saving work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all cancers.

Alex Monroe said: “I was delighted when Cancer Research UK approached me to design a wedding favour for its wonderful range as cancer sadly touches the lives of each and every one of us in some way.

“I’m so pleased this affordable and wearable piece of jewellery, which celebrates the joy of a wedding, proved to be so popular as everyone who orders the pin badges is helping Cancer Research UK beat cancer sooner.

“The final test for our designs is always if members of our team are clamouring to wear them - and Mr and Mrs Chicken definitely passed.”
