Plant married Wilson on 9th November 1968 and they had three children together; Carmen Jane (1968) who was married to Charlie Jones, (Plant's bass player on his solo tours); and two sons Karac Pendragon (1972), and Logan Romero (1979).
In 1977, when he was in the midst of the Led Zeppelin US tour, Plant had a phone call from Maureen to say that their son Karac was very ill and only two hours later she called him back to let him know that he had suddenly died of a stomach infection at the tender age of five.
In 1983, unfortunately, the couple went their separate ways and Plant went onto have a son with Maureen’s sister Shirley Wilson in 1991.
