Whilst there was no programme broadcast on Wednesday, the camp mates still had to eat, so that day’s challenge was brought into camp.

Given the rules by the Bush Telegraph, the celebrities read out information about the task ahead, entitled ‘Critterish Allsorts’.

Hidden within a Perspex box were twelve stars but hiding them were a host of jungle critters, including cockroaches and ants. In alphabetical order and one by one they each would have one minute to find one star. The celebrities must not collect more than one star, if they remove more they must return the extra star or stars to the bottom of the tank.

Talking through the challenge the group struggled to get their heads around the challenge. Dani repeatedly had to re-read the rules to the group and frustrated by how long this was taking Nicola muttered to Simon ‘This is getting on my nerves now its not rocket science.’

Realising that they could find a star and then look around for others to help out their team leaving them at the top of the tank, the celebrities got their plan into place. First up was Brian and he asked Esther if she would sing ‘She’s Coming Round The Mountain’ to help ensure he didn’t take longer than a minute.

As the group crowded round, Brian successfully won the first star. Told to remain on the logs, Carly, Dani, David and Esther were all successful bringing the total to four.

George was next up but was unable to find a star in time, Joe and Martina repeated the earlier success bringing the total stars to six.

A nervous Nicola edges toward the Perspex box as she placed her hand into it, she screamed ‘my nails’. Finding the star it was the turn of Robert who also found a star within the minute.

Next up was Simon who was followed by Timmy. Both were unable to find a star, but the group won a total of nine stars which equalled nine meals for the camp.
