The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises promises to be THE movie event of the 2012 when Christopher Nolan returns to the director’s chair for the third movie in the Batman franchise.
The Dark Knight was the greatest comic book movie that has ever been made and the 2012 movie has plenty to live up to - and yet I feel that Nolan will surpass himself.
Christian Bale is also back as Bruce Wayne while Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine are also returning to the role of Lucius Fox, Jim Gordon and Alfred.
And there are also some exciting new names on the cast list in the form of Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Tom Hardy as they take on the roles of Catwoman, John Blake and Bane.
Last week a rather poor quality teaser trailer for the movie was leaked and now the official teaser for the movie is here.
Sadly the trailer doesn’t give away much, in fact it doesn’t give away anything, but it is enough to instil excitement in the fans of the franchise, of which I am one.
The Dark Knight Rises is released 20th July 2012.
