U2 rocker The Edge has splashed out $15 million (£7.69 million) on a luxurious new mansion in the popular Malibu area of Los Angeles.The guitarist's latest property - in addition to homes in his native Ireland and France - boasts a cottage and a creek, but instead of being in the prime beachfront area by the Pacific, the rocker's new buy is located in a canyon.The Edge - real name Dave Evans - helped to raise $2.4 million on Saturday (21Apr07) by auctioning off personal items to benefit musicians who lost everything in 2005's Hurricane Katrina.
