Claire (Julia Haworth) is questioned by the police. It doesn't look good as they ask her about being sectioned. Becoming more frustrated she tells them they might as well lock her up now and throw away the key. Meanwhile, Ashley (Steven Arnold) is talking to Kevin (Michael LeVell) about Claire and tells him it is hard to stop himself thinking the worst about her given what has happened in the past. But things reach stalemate between Claire and the police and she is released without charge. She asks Ashley what people have been saying about her but tells him all she really cares about is what Ashley thinks, how will he reply?At lunch, Paul (Sean Gallagher) is dismayed to find out that Leanne (Jane Danson) will be Carla's (Alison King) business partner in the restaurant.He can't hold his tongue for long and gives Carla an ear bashing over her decision, she thinks he is narked because she's doing something for herself and he struggles to conceal his real reasons. Later in the Rovers Paul and Carla are still arguing, despite Liam (Rob James-Collier) and Leanne's attempts to calm them down. It doesn't help when Leanne then apologises to Liam saying she has to meet her sister again after receiving a phone call. Will Liam become suspicious?Meanwhile, Liz (Beverley Callard) freezes when Vernon (Ian Reddington) suggests Derek (David Hounslow) fancies her. Is he onto them?Violet (Jenny Platt) flirts with a new customer, Tam (Will Norris).
