Pop star Cher could be lined up for a role as Catwoman in the next Batman film.
Pop star Cher could be lined up for a role in the next Batman film. Sources say Cher, 62, is in talks to play Catwoman opposite Christian Bale in the follow up to 'The Dark Knight'. Johnny Depp has also been rumoured to be joining the cast as character The Riddler.
A studio insider said: "Cher is Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry's purring creations."
The character of Catwoman was played by Pfeiffer in 'Batman Returns' in 1992. Berry took on the role in the Batman franchise spin-off film 'Catwoman' in 2004. Cher most recently acted in 1999s 'Tea with Mussolini' and in 'Stuck on You' in 2003.

Que la próxima Gatúbela (Catwoman) sea la actriz y cantante argentina Nacha Guevara, sería fantástico, mucho mejor que Cher !!! Nacha es maravillosamente felina y talentosa.
