Emma Chawner has been given her own diet TV show.

It was arguably twice as bad as before.

The rotund 'X Factor' wannabe - who has auditioned for the ITV talent show three times but never made it through to the second stage - will appear in the six-part series alongside her sister Samantha, 21, mother Audrey, 57, and father Peter, 53.

Emma, 19, weighs 252lbs and her family has a combined weight of over 1162lbs.

Paul Stead, whose production company Daisybeck is making he show for the Biography channel, said: "It's a chance to change how they live and how they feel about themselves.

"We worked hard to secure access to the Chawner family for this series. We've designed a format that allows them to meet some of the best experts in the country to give them an opportunity to really change the way they live and how they feel about themselves."

The programme will be presented by Lorraine Kelly - it's titled 'Lorraine Kelly's Big Slim: The Chawner Challenge' - and will see the family embark on a fifth-month diet and fitness plan.

The Chawners will be helped by an elite team of nutritionists, health and fitness experts and life coaches.

Emma appeared on this year's show with her sister, and sang Atomic Kitten hit 'Whole Again'.

Judge Simon Cowell said: "It was arguably twice as bad as before."
