Fans of Princess Diana will soon be able to buy a piece of the material used to make her iconic wedding dress.

The gown designers David and Elizabeth Emmanuel have allowed pieces taken from the final alterations to be sold alongside a new book about the making of the famous dress.

The hand trimmed, framed swatch of ivory silk is certified by the designers and comes in a specially crafted 'Dress for Diana' box set.

The set also includes a commemorative album with over 200 images and sketches which show the whole dress-making process as well as the final product.

The 1,000 limited edition sets will all be numbered and cost £1,000 each.
