As the petiton lines against road pricing closed and the right honerable Mr Blair duly sending out over 1.6 millions e-mails to every person who protested, the first queston I have to ask is, did anyone who received this e-mial understand what he was wittering on about?

Answer: No

Secondly, will they do a U-turn and listen?

Answer: No
because this scheme has been in place for over five years, the technology is up and ready to go, so any protest made by us honest public has gone on deaf ears.

The only perosn or persons that could posibly stop this utter nonsense is the MP’s themselves. For when their expenses are exaimined the real truth will come out.

Take the MP who reputes to drive 60,000 miles per year as per her Parlimentary expense form, at £1.34 per mile. Under the new law she would face a bill of £80,000. Another classic is an MP claiming she drives 20,000 miles per year.

But to achieve this she physically has to drive to and from work ten times a day, week in week out and with the average time of one hour per trip, where on earth does she find time to do her duty as an MP, yet along work out her fine?.

The only real solution to road conjestion is to simply remove all un-insurned cars with no valid MOT certificate and no tax.

There, that is a million cars off the road staight away..
