Toby Sebastian Talks Sex With Strangers On Airplanes!

The Orange unsignedAct with Sony Ericsson is fast becoming our favourite show here at FemaleFirst.Now that we've got down to the top 4, things are really heating up, so we sat down with 16 year old singer-songwriter Toby Sebastian to see how he's coping with the competition, and to chat music, regrets, and running around naked!

Hey Toby, how are you?

Hi I'm good, I'm enjoying been back at school.

How great is it been in the top 4?

Been in the top 4 is amazing. I didn't think I'd get this far, I didn't think I'd get into the last 54!

Do you think you have what it takes to win?

I do think I have what it takes to win, but it is all down to the public now so I guess it could turn end in any number of ways because noone really knows who the public likes as it's always been up to the judges who stays and who goes.

Who would you like to see come back on a wildcard?

I'd like to see Scarlet Harlots come back for definite.

Who do you think is your biggest rival?

Tommy Riley is definitely my biggest rival.

Which of the judges would you be if you had to choose one?

Probably Simon Gavin because he has the overall vote![ff:Like the Simon Cowell of the show!] Yeah like Simon Cowell!

So to anyone who hasn't been watching the show, describe yourself in 5 words

First of all, young, exciting...Oh this is really hard! [ff: maybe cool...we'll make some up for you! Student? And talented!] Yeah Cool, student and talented!

How much would winning mean to you?

Winning would be amazing! I've got to a point were I'm happy with where I am so far and I hope I can get something out of it.

So how did you come to enter the competition in the first place?

Well I heard about it through some friends talking about the competition and how it was on last year and how it was starting again this year. And then I saw some adverts for it so I phoned up, that's basically it.

Did you think you'd get this far?

I didn't think I'd get this far at all! Every step through is a prize.

Is there anyone you don't really get along with then?

No I think I get along with everyone, well I hope I do!

Who was your best friend in the competition?

Thats a hard one...I liked Sleeper Cell. To be honest I actually like all of them that are left. I like Tommy, I like Hip Parade, they're all great.

Do you think you would be able to handle a sudden rush of fame at 16 years old if you did win?

I think it'd be hard to cope with it all, but I think I'd be able to. If I didn't then I wouldn't have entered for it.

So who are a few of your musical influences?

Damien Rice, The Strokes, Marvin Gaye.

If you were to join any band who would it be?

If I could join any band it'd have to be Hip Parade.

Who do you think is the biggest artist of all time?

I suppose I'd have to say Jimmy Hendrix.

We have a few random questions that we ask everyone, the first is, what's your most treasured memory?

Living in Spain [ff: aw, when did you live there?] When I was seven, till ten so three years.

What's your biggest regret?

I don't actually have any regrets! [ff: well you're still young!] Yeah that's true, yeah I don't have any regrets!

If you only had nine minutes left to live, and money was no object, what would you do?

I'd run around naked!

We also ask every celebrity we interview to come up with a question for the next person we interview. And the singer Sam from Scarlet Harlot couldn't come up with a question so I gave him one! Now I hope your Mum doesn't read this, but if you were on an airplane and you were talking pleasantly to a person of average appearance and then unexpectedly the person offers you £10,000 for one night of sex, knowing there's no danger and payment is certain, would you accept the offer?

No way because I don't have a clue who it'll be! [ff: What if it was Angelina Jolie!] Yea and what if it was some old, fat, middle aged man! No thank you, don't be silly! [ff: No they're of average appearance!] No I'm not taking that, because I don't know if they're of average appearance, I don't know whose judging that!

Ok, so can you come up with a question for the next person I interview please? It's either going to be Bo Bruce or The Script.

The Script?! [ff: Yeah] What! I'm making a question for The Script?! [ff: Yeah, do you like them?] Well kind of, I just think it's quite mad that I'll be doing a question for them! Ask them do they like to paint?
