Queens Of The Stone Age once performed an emergency appendectomy on a female fan in Germany, according to the band's guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen.
The group had just finished a concert in Munich when Leeuwen and his bandmates were called upon to help a sick fan.
The rocker insists he knew what he was doing - but was too drunk to do it properly. He tells FasterLouder.com, "We forgot the anaesthesia. I do know how to perform these operations, but I'd had too much to drink that day. But she's OK.
"It's actually a legal matter... It's a medical, slash legal matter and I can't say much more than that."
