Prince Andrew has revealed that he hasn't "jammed" with will.i.am.

The Duke of York teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas rapper in July for the inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) scheme which aims to help young business innovators.

But he was quick to note that their collaboration is strictly charitable because he hasn't joined the star in his recording studio, although the Duke hinted that he hasn't ruled it out.

Prince Andrew said: "I have not been to will.i.am's studio or jammed with him. Not yet anyway."

The royal also admitted that his daughter Princess Eugenie had to download a few of will.i.am's tracks to update his music collection.

Prince Andrew said: "He's now on my playlist, mostly because my youngest daughter put him on.

"I have a very eclectic listening habit. I have classical and, as it were, more modern music. I listen to it sometimes in the car, though mostly when I'm exercising."

Speaking about his charity scheme with will.i.am, the Duke added: "He's a major inspiration to a lot of young people from all sorts of backgrounds - not just because he's famous but he actually has something many others don't have, which is that he cares about giving back to his community.

"I have seen him do it - and it only takes about a sentence from him to change somebody's life."
