Princess Leonore of Sweden was christened yesterday (08.06.14).

The royal tot, who is the daughter of Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill, is fifth-in-line to the throne and was baptised at 12pm on the same day as her parents' first wedding anniversary.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel were among the 160 guests who attended the celebrations, which took place in the Royal Chapel at Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm.

Three month old Princess Leonore wore the same traditional cream gown that her two-year-old cousin Princess Estelle donned at her christening, while proud mum Madeleine wore a pink floral dress and matching fascinator and she walked into the church carrying Leonore, alongside her husband Chris.

The businessman asked God to "bring [his] love to the child for whom [he had] given [Madeleine and Chris] responsibility."

Madeleine's older sister Victoria then poured water into the font, which has come from a special spring on a large Swedish island in the Baltic Sea, which was used to baptise Leonore by Archbishop Anders Wejryd.

According to Hellomagazine.com, he told the tot: "We welcome you into the family of God and receive you in love."

Chaplain to The King, Lars-Göran Lönnermark, and Pastor of the Royal Court Parish, Michael Bjerkhagen, assisted the archbishop in the christening, which lasted 40-minutes and was conducted in English in some parts.
