'Britain's Got Talent' winners Diversity have dropped plans for a nightclub tour amid fears they could become caught up in sex and drugs.
The dance troupe - who were the shock winners of the UK TV talent show earlier this year, beating favourite Susan Boyle into second place - decided against visiting certain venues after the mothers of the two youngest members - Perri Luc Kiely, 13, and 12-year-old Mitchell Craske - voiced their concerns.
Dancer and choreographer Ashley Banjo explained: "We did a few dates, but it's hard for us as we've got little ones involved. We love our fans and meeting people but we have to think about the little guys in clubs."
There are so many people that look up to us. If they see us behaving badly then they will go and do it.
The two concerned parents, who help manage the troupe, are said to be keen for their sons to perform at more family-friendly events.
Yesterday (06.08.09), the group danced at the launch of Disney XD TV channel in London's Covent Garden.
Ashley insists Diversity are happy with the clean-cut image, especially as they have lots of young fans.
He explained: "We're really supportive of each other. If anyone has any problems they can count on the others. We will always say no to drugs.
