More Brits believe in ghosts than God

More Britons believe in ghosts and aliens than in God.

Research carried out by Ripley's Believe It or Not!'s London team has found that half of adults living in the United Kingdom think extraterrestrials exist, compared to just a mere quarter that believe in God.

The poll - which questioned 1,500 adults and 500 children - also found that over 50 per cent of Brits think ghosts exist, while 42 per cent believe there are UFOs out there.

Meanwhile, just over a quarter of those children questioned think aliens are humans in disguise, while five per cent believe they've come into contact with one.
