Brits fear drinking on a first date

That is according to a new survey conducted by Flirtini, which found that Brits fear the potential consequences of drinking on a first date.

Anastasii Pochotna, a dating expert and Growth Marketing Specialist at Flirtini, said: "It can be difficult to show our true selves on a first date - anxiety often gets the best of us. However, it's important to understand that feeling nervous before a date is perfectly normal.

"There's no harm in having a drink to ease your nerves, but if one drink turns into ten, that can become a problem. That's why we encourage our users to flirt on the app and get to know their date - knowing their interests and hobbies is a way better date starter."
