A conspiracy theorist has claimed that Australia does not exist.

Facebook user Shelley Floryd has taken to the social networking platform to explain her theory, outlining her reasons why she doesn't believe the land Down Under to be real.
She wrote: ''Australia does not exist. All things you call 'proof' are actually well fabricated lies and documents made by the leading governments of the world.
''Your Australian friends? They're all actors and computer generated personas, part of the plot to trick the world.''
Although Shelley's post has already been removed, it has attracted significant attention online.
