A crane crashed through a roof after a man attempted to use it to propose to his girlfriend.
Bizarre on Female First
The hopeless romantic from IJsselstein in Holland hired the crane to lift him up to his lover's window so he could surprise her by asking her to marry him, the Daily Star newspaper reports.
However, as the vehicle had not been properly secured, it tipped over and went crashing through his girlfriend's neighbour's roof.
Two homes on the street were evacuated but luckily no one was hurt during the accident.
