Although there is a 55-year age gap between them, the teenager Selamat Riayadi married Rohaya in Indonesia despite objections from their family, according to the Daily Mail.
The two got married in their home village of Karangendah and although men must be at least 19 before getting married in Indonesia, the couple still wed using the loophole in the law which allows for marriage under an individual's religious norms.
