A downpour in Tampico, Mexico, reportedly saw a variety of sea creatures rain down on the area, but the director of the local emergency services, Pedro Granados, has admitted the incident is ''not normal'' occurrence, the Mirror Online has reported.
He said: ''It's strange, not normal''.
However, this is not the first time such a case has been reported as a similar incident has been recorded in Kansas City, as well as Australia.
And it is believed the objects and animals that drop from the heavens is because lightweight objects can easily be picked up in the air and can be transported for a few miles before landing on the ground.
