A driver was left stunned after witnessing a cat use a door knocker to be let inside a property.

Motorist Dan Richardson spotted the furry feline outside a home in Merseyside, North West England, after he had stopped to type in directions on his phone before recording the surreal sighting.
He told the Liverpool Echo: ''I was in my car and I caught a glimpse of it happening.
''Then I watched and the cat started to climb up the door again so I whipped out my phone to record it.
''I looked and wondered if that had just really happened - I was baffled.
''It is not something you see every day, I don't think anyone has seen anything like it''
He shared the video on Facebook and it has since been viewed over 400,000 times.
