The UK's supply of prosecco is running out.
A bad harvest last year has caused a shortage of the Italian sparkling wine, which could also mean there will be a drastic hike in prices of the wine.
Fans of the fizzy tipple - known as a cheap alternative to champagne - may have to prepare themselves for a dry summer.
Robert Cremonese, export manager of Italian prosecco producer Bisol, told 'The Drinks Business': ''Last year's harvest was very poor, and down by up to 50 per cent in some parts, so there is a very real possibility of a global shortage.''
