A woman has admitted she feels sexier with a beard.
''I got bullied badly. At school I was called a 'beardo' and things like 'shemale' and 'sheman.'''
Harnaam Kaur was just 11 when she began sprouting facial hair from her chin and the 23-year-old has endured years of bullying over her beard, despite her attempts to conceal the unsightly hair by waxing, shaving and bleaching.
Ms Kaur - who works as a teaching assistant - has finally decided to accept her hairy appearance because she feels more attractive that way.
She said: ''I got bullied badly. At school I was called a 'beardo' and things like 'shemale' and 'sheman.'''
''I feel more feminine, more sexy and I think I look it too. I've learned to love myself for who I am nothing can shake me now.''
Ms Kaur suffers with polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition that causes excessive hair growth in some women.
