After Jhoom Barabar Jhoom , Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan is doing another cameo
Yashraj Films production – Laaga Chunari Mein Daag .
Bachchan will be seen in a small but important role in the Pradeep Sarkar directed film.
The film is based on a female-centric theme and has Rani Mukherjee , Abhishek Bachchan , Konkona Sen Sharma and Jaya Bachchan in main roles.
This is Sarkar's first film with the Yashraj Films banner and also stars Kunal Kapoor , Anupam Kher , Kiron Kher and Farida Jalal .
Jaya is reported to play the role of the mother to Rani and Konkona while Abhishek will play Rani's love interest and Kunal will be paired opposite Konkona.
Vidya Balan was earlier offered the role that eventually went to Konkona and Saif Ali Khan was earlier approached for the role that went to Abhishek.
