Bollywood in Nottingham

A Bollywood blockbuster is being filmed this month in Nottingham and their recent filming has been taking place at The University of Nottingham. Filmakers are using the historic buildings of University Park and the ultra-modern Jubelee campus as it backdrop.

The movie 'Teri Meri Kahani' is being directed by the famous Kunal Kholi. Who has previously directed hit movies like: 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge,' 'Hum Tum,' and 'Fanaa.'

'Teri Meri Kahni' is a time-travelling movie about a couple who embark on a romantic journey of eternal love through different lives, which start in contemporary London and Nottingham, go back in time to the Punjab of 1910 and forward to the 1960's in Bombay.

The Bollywood crew are reported to be in Nottingham filming till the 13th of August.
