The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun
For those who were big fans of Lord of the Rings need not think that they will only see the work of Tolkien on the big screen anymore. Harper Collins has announced that they will be publishing a poem by Tolkien that has not previously been in the public arena.
The poem is called The Fall of Arthur and the story spans out over 200-pages. It follows the story of ancient Britain and details the final days of King Arthur's reign when he had to defend his country from Mordred.
It has been four years since we have had a new release form Tolkien, following The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún. Fans; do not be fooled into thinking that it features Middle-Earth or any of the characters featured in the films and books. The Fall of Arthur will be the perfect gift for those fans of the literary writing style of the beloved author.
The Fall of Arthur will be out next spring.
