The Cavendon Women

The Cavendon Women

The Cavendon Women is set in 1926- the future of one stately home is in the hands of four women- all of whom are very different.

In the summer of 1926, the Ingham family comes together at Cavendon Hall in Yorkshire, which has been in their family for generations. The Swanns serve the Inghams and know every one of their secrets.

The estate comes under threat following the Great War and it is now left in ruin. The heir to the building wants a divorce so he can be with his true love and the Earl has something up his sleeve.

Four young women from both walks of life will be the ones to decide its fate. Daphne wants to modernise the home, Cecily Swann is an aspiring designer in London, Deidre wants a career and Dulcie is the debutante who believes honesty is the best policy. Will the estate become better for their input or will the encroaching Great Depression put an end to the family home?
