Freezing Point

Freezing Point

The polar icecaps are melting - fast.
In a drowning, desperate world, the Soldyne Corporation sees an opportunity: Melt Antarctic icebergs into drinking water using their microwave satellite array, ship the water to thirsty nations around the globe, and make a fortune.
But deep within the ice waits an enemy more deadly than anyone could imagine--and an apocalyptic horror Earth may not survive. (Author description)

Unfortunately, whilst being a good book, it does not live up to the above description. Yes it’s about the environment, yes it’s about corporate greed, but apocalyptic horror? Not so you’d think so from the suspense at the end.

In fact, that’s my problem with the book. It is a good plot, well written and very interesting from an environmental point of view, but for me, the ending is too abrupt and the author doesn’t make enough of the suspense at the end. However, this is purely my opinion and others may think otherwise.

Good read  4*
