Photons hitting on

Metal

On water

On mirror

On feather

Hitting on my

Retina

Drawing a picture

On the gray matter

Ripples in the sea ,

shadows under a tree ,

wings in motions prey for today’s catch ,

car skids through crowded streets nearly kills a Persian cat, hungry beggars dig into someone’s rubbish bin

Pretty Ugly Scary Happy Sad

I cry a tear

Too many colors

Too many shapes

My eyes cannot handle

My mind fails to register

I close my eyes

To shut out the photons

To stop the message in my neurons

I look up the sky

Is it a solar eclipse No

The sun has only gone to sleep

The moon creeps up over the hills

And casts a magic spell from heaven

The earth now softer

The world seems kinder

Sunlight swapping for moonlight

Naughty kid has quiet down

Too tired for antics

Too weary to fight

There is a different play

Under a different light

Play of the night

With a diffused glow

We Search for each other

To love and to hold

We cling to each other

Not a care about any form

It is warmth that we want

The room is dark

But clearer we see each other

With our mouth our hands

With our mind’s eyes
