NaNoWriMo!
Well folks it’s that time of year again! It’s 'Movember', but for us writers it’s also National Novel writing Month or ‘NaNoWriMo’ as it’s also known! It is our chance as writers to write a novel in just a month! With help at hand on the site in the form of a progress tracker, a support network with people to give you pep talks and meet other people in the same boat, it is the best way to help you to write your novel if you’re struggling to write quickly!
The website is funded by sponsors, who donate to keep it afloat and is a not for profit organisation, run by The Office of Letter and Light Programmes. The site boasts a number of sections dedicated for younger writers, camps to attend as well as inventive places to write in such as in libraries and independent book stores.
You can read about novelists that have become published as part of joining the site as well as where you can attend the groups which are near you.
If you want to write a novel fast, then this is the only place to begin!
