First Time in Forever

First Time in Forever

Our Google search histories are not for the fainthearted (or young children)

Watching back-to-back episodes of your favourite TV series – just so you can appreciate how that hero’s storyline develops - really does count as research!

It really is possible to fall in love with fictional characters

We can find inspiration everywhere – from conversations overheard on the train to magazines to reality shows, we are surrounded by potential stories.

We spend more time than you would think working in our pyjamas!

It’s not all about the grand gestures. Roses and champagne are lovely, but sometimes it’s the little things that count for the most – in life, and fiction!

Hitting a daily word count would be much easier if you could include all the time we spent on Twitter.

Every romance author needs their fuel. Whether it’s chocolate, coffee or raw carrots – if it works, we love it.

We may be writing about romance, but it’s the love of family, friends and fans that makes it all possible.

Romance books make people happy – and writing them is the best job in the world.
