Bow Wow not named on baby's birth certificate

Bow Wow will have to go before a judge to be named as the father of his new baby daughter, after his former partner reportedly refused to acknowledge the rapper on their child's birth certificate.

The 24-year-old welcomed his baby daughter Shai Moss with ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis in April, but only opened up about the news last week.

He published an open letter online, gushing about hs newborn, but it's now been revealed Bow Wow has not officially been named as the father of Shai.

The baby's birth certificate, obtained by TMZ.com, shows the section containing the father's details has been left blank.

Chavis tells the website she was upset her ex failed to show up for the birth, but is now hapy for Bow Wow to be named as father on official documents - but TMZ reports a judge will need to be involved to make the amendment.
