Madame Tussauds Blackpool has secured the arrival of one of Britain’s most famous movie stars this October.

Robert Pattinson’s wax figure will launch on Tuesday 23 October and join the attraction’s Best of British collection which includes the Beatles, HRH The Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Jetting in for one month only, the figure will make Blackpool his home until the end of November.

Matthew Titherington, general manager of Madame Tussauds Blackpool, said: “Robert Pattinson’s fans are world famous for their loyalty and fantastic enthusiasm for their superstar and his arrival in Blackpool will hopefully bring some of that ‘RPatz’ fever to the town.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming his fans to madame tussauds Blackpool and can’t wait to see their reactions when his figure is unveiled.”

    Does anyone at Madame Tussauds even know who Robert Pattinson is? It appears they don't have a clue based on this horrific wax figure. I think I could do better with mud and a butter knife or a lump of playdoh!
