Wilmer Valderrama was pulled by the police and given a ticket for speeding hours before he was due to walk the red carpet.
The star was on his way to the Larry Crowne premiere.
Valderrama was driving around Los Angeles with a friend when an officer signalles for him to pull his vechile over - and handed the actor a ticket for going above the legal limit.
According to TMZ.com, the ticket cost him £187 ($300), but that didn't stop him from turning on the charm alongside Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts at the Hollywood screening.
The film is released 1 July in the UK.
