The 43-year-old actor has reportedly been asked by officials on the island of Jersey whether they can repatriate the neolithic Mont de la Ville dolmen, which has been spotted at James' property near Henley-on-Thames, in southern England.

James bought the spectacular property for around £8.5 million last year and the monument has been uncovered on his estate, according to the Daily Star newspaper.

Jersey politician Kirsten Morel is determined to see the monument return to the island. However, Kirsten admitted there is still "a long way to go" before that can happen.

The dolmen dates back thousands of years, but was shipped to England in 1788. And despite Jersey's wish to see the monument repatriated, a spokesperson for James has insisted he hasn't heard from any officials.

Meanwhile, James recently admitted he's lost "just over 35lbs" - but he still hates going to the gym.

The actor has made a concerted effort to lose a bit of weight over recent months, even though doesn't enjoy working out.

He said: "I feel like I'm getting better. I'm trying, but I feel like there's still a way to go ... I've lost just over 35lbs."

James - who has hosted 'The Late Late Show' since 2015 - subsequently admitted he struggles to motivate himself to go to the gym, although he's really tried to change his ways.

He shared: "I'm trying to, but I suck at it. I'm so bad at it.

"It's terrible. There are so few hours in the day that are just my own, do you know what I mean?

"I've got three young kids. We have the show and all these things. I feel like, 'Hang on a minute. I've got an hour here where I'm on my own, and I'm doing something that I absolutely hate'. I should just be laying down."
