The 66-year-old former model and actress has not spoken to Zowie Bowie, 44, now known as Duncan Jones, for 28 years but insisted that she is at peace with it because it was his decision.

After hearing about David's death on on Sunday (10.01.16) at the age of 69 after an 18-month battle with cancer, Angie's fellow 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemates comforted her and said they hoped her son would get back into contact.

However, Angie replied: "When they're a grown man, it's enough now. He decided he didn't want to see me anymore. He decided, you know. He decided he didn't want to see me, and that was fine. Not a problem. It's been a long time."

Meanwhile, Angie's manager defended her when she was slammed for deciding to remain in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house after being informed of David's death.

He told BBC Radio 5: "She had plenty of time to consider her position. She made the decision to go back in the house, she made the decision to be interviewed afterwards.

"Obviously when Big Brother was talking to her and asking questions, it is emotional. The whole 'Big Brother' experience is emotional and she knew that before she went in to the house.

"She took the time to think about the ramifications. She decided that she wanted to continue, she didn't want to be seen to be cashing in and leave the house immediately.

"It's a sanctuary for her there. She's now part of a family, for better or for worse, and it seems to be working out quite well."

"She's a genuine person, she's happy for people to see her as she is. She went in there knowing that emotions would be laid bare for everyone to see.

"They've left it entirely up to her to make the decision. She had no pressure. She's an intelligent woman and she knows what she's doing."
