The TV star was granted a decree nisi at a hearing at the Central Family Court in London before District Judge Heather MacGregor on Wednesday morning (14.10.15).

Judge MacGregor awarded Anthea the undefended petition on the grounds of her husband's adultery.

The pair originally split in 2013 with Anthea kicking her spouse out of their Surrey home amid allegations Grant had embarked on a year-long affair with socialite Zoe De Mallet Morgan.

According to reports Judge Heather MacGregor said: "I pronounce the decree nisi order in accordance with the respective district judge certificates."

Neither Anthea, 55, nor Grant, 53, attended the hearing and their divorce will be legally finalised within the next six weeks.

The couple first got together in 1998 following Anthea's split from her first husband, DJ Peter Powell.

However, they split briefly when Grant rekindled his relationship with his wife Della - with whom he has three children - before tying the knot in 2000.

Anthea has proven she is ready to move on from her failed marriage by recently appearing on a celebrity version of 'First Dates' as part of Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer and enjoyed lunch with a 50-year-old man named Jeremy.

However, the former 'Blue Peter' presenter decided not to pursue a relationship with Jeremy, claiming he was too well-behaved and that she was putt off when she discovered he didn't like the taste of brown sauce.
