Beyonce felt she was able to communicate with Blue Ivy during labour.

The singer believes that she was very maternal during pregnancy with her baby Blue Ivy feeling a ‘strong connection’ with her from the start. It helped her to talk to her baby while she was giving birth to her in February 2011. She claims that their special connection helped her to overcome the pain of childbirth.

Speaking to the November issue of Australia's Marie Claire magazine, Beyoncé revealed: "I felt very maternal at around eight months and I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby ... But it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child.

"I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I could think about my own pain ... we were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication."

She is one of the most prominent singers of her time, however she still feels nervous by the pressures of fame and the possibility of family in her pursuits.

She said: "I'm still completely nervous, I still feel pressure."

She often scrolls through the internet and is tempted to read articles written by the general public however has to stop herself so she doesn’t get hurt.

She laughed: "Don't scroll down! You're definitely going to get your feelings hurt."
