Camille Grammer now feels "blessed" having been cancer-free for 12 months.

The reality star underwent a hysterectomy and chemotherapy in 2013 after being diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer, and is delighted to have reached a milestone in her recovery.

Tweeting on Saturday, January 3 she wrote: "This is a very special day for me. A year ago today I finished my Cancer treatment at MD Anderson and Rang The Bell. One year in Remission.(sic)".

Speaking to E! News she added: "I'm reaching milestones all the time and just trying to get myself back.

"With cancer, you never really feel like you're in the clear but I feel good and I have a sense that things are going to be OK. I'm relieved, I'm happy and I feel blessed."

In celebration of her health, Camille's enjoying a Hawaii vacation and admits this year has started very differently to the last.

"It's an amazing start to the new year...

"Last year, I was too sick from the chemo to celebrate New Year's Eve. This year, I went to two parties. It was the best New Year's I've had in years. There was a lot of hugs and dancing."

Proud of her achievements in overcoming the disease, she's particularly happy to have set a good example to her daughter.

"Overall, I'm happy. I'm fulfilled and I'm in a great place in life.

"I'm so happy I could show my daughter what it is to be a strong woman."
