Chris Moyles is to host a new breakfast show on Radio X.

The former BBC Radio 1 DJ is set to go head to head with his breakfast show replacement Nick Grimshaw when he joins Global Radio's new station later this month.
Chris - who was replaced by Nick on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show in 2012 - will be back on the air from 6.30 to 10am starting on September 21.
Radio X is a brand new national radio station, available digitally and via FM in London and Manchester, and is replacing XFM as the home of the best fresh rock and guitar-based music across the UK.
The 41-year-old presenter has been taking time out for the past couple of years and has admitted he's "genuinely happy" since ditching the early morning wake-ups despite now signing up to do it all over again.
Asked why he's chosen to return to breakfast radio, he explained: "Because I think it's time. People are always asking me when I'm going back to the radio. Even though it's years since I left."
Moyles has also confessed for the first time that he was axed from Radio 1.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I'd done eight-and-a-half years. I'd decided at nine-and-half-years I'd turn the mic on one morning and say: 'When my contract runs out at Christmas, I'm not going to re-sign. I'm off.'
"That would have been ten years on the Breakfast Show. So my reaction when [station controller] Ben [Cooper] told me was: 'You s***bag, you've just blown my announcement by a year.'"
In addition to Moyles, presenters Vernon Kay, Johnny Vaughan and Kaiser Chiefs frontman and 'The Voice' coach Ricky Wilson will also be joining Radio X.
