The 37-year-old star - who is married to footballer Wayne - was sued for libel by Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah. 41, after she accused her of leaking details of her private life to the press but insisted after winning the court case that she always "stuck to [her] truth" and got the verdict she wanted in court.

She told The Daily Mail's You Magazine: "I stuck to my truth. Everything I said from the beginning to the end never changed. I'd never wish a court case upon anyone. But I got the verdict I wanted. Now it's time to move on."

Her comments come just weeks ahead of what is being dubbed by football fans as Wagatha Vardy, as now-manager Wayne's team Birmingham City FC will face forward Jamie's team Leicester City F.C., marking the first time the two men will see each other since the verdict of the trial was reached in July 2022.

Coleen - who has Kai, 14, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five, with the former Manchester United player - went on to add that the kids will always be her "priority" in life but will release her autobiography 'My Account' on November 9 and will then discuss with her management what is next for her career-wise.

The kids have always been my priority, they always will be, but I'd like to see what's out there for me. First, we'll get through Christmas, that's a big family affair – everything I do is a family affair. Then I'll sit down with my management and map out what's next. But I'm going to wait. I like to take my time; I like to organise and be prepared."

Just weeks ago, Coleen admitted in the run-up of her Disney+ documentary 'Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story' that she "never imagined" she would ever fall out with a fellow WAG.

She told The Sunday Times: "I’ve never fallen out with the partner of another footballer in my life, and I never thought I would. I wanted to do the documentary because everyone was saying so many things about the case at the time, including the other side. But I didn’t, because I’m not that type of person. But now it’s my turn to speak."
