Debbie Rowe is ready to "help" Paris Jackson after her alleged suicide attempt.

The 15-year-old star reportedly tried to take her own life earlier this week and her mother is willing to step in to "do whatever" she can.

An insider told the New York Post: "Debbie's door has always been open to Paris, and she will do whatever it takes to help her daughter."

Debbie was married to the 'Thriller' hitmaker for three years and gave full custody of their children - Prince, 16, and Paris, during their divorce proceedings in 1999.

Two years later she relinquished all parental rights to the children but, following Michael's death in 2009, she reached an agreement with his mother Katherine - who became the children's' legal guardian - for supervised visitation rights.

However, it is reported Debbie willing to "take custody" if Paris decides she would want to live with her mother, with the Jackson family looking to the nurse "to take the lead".

The source continued: "She will take custody if Paris wants to come and live with her ... The rest of the family is looking to Debbie to take the lead; she has extensive experience in psychology."
