The 22-year-old actress, who was arrested and released without charge after a domestic violence incident involving her boyfriend in Montreal, Canada, last week, was photographed being comforted by the 'American Horror Story' star outside a studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, after news of the scandal broke.
A source close to the duo told gossip website TMZ.com that the couple, who began dating last year, are still very much together despite their recent troubles and are working together on the hit horror series.
Emma - who is Oscar-winner Julia Roberts' niece - was taken into police custody after she got into a physical altercation with Evan on July 7, that left him with a bloody nose.
Local law enforcement sources previously said that the couple were overheard fighting in their room and someone in their hotel called the police.
The insider said that police officers immediately arrested Emma after arriving at the scene and witnessing Evan's bloody nose.
The 26-year-old actor also had a bite mark on his body.
'Celeste and Jesse Forever' star Emma was released hours later as Evan declined to press charges.
A source close to the actress insisted that both parties were to blame for the violent incident as they were both hitting each other.
The actress was spotted with black and blue bruises all over her legs and a scar on her knee, as well as a plaster on her left elbow, during her first public appearance since the incident.
