Emma Stone says her work stops her from having a busy social life.

The 26-year-old Emma Stone enjoyed a very successful 2014 starring as character Sally Bowles in the Broadway production of musical 'Cabaret' and having lead roles in films 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', 'Magic in the Moonlight' and 'Birdman'.

Emma Stone reveals she stays at home watching movies and reads in her spare time because her acting career keeps her so busy.

But Emma - who is in a relationship with her 'The Amazing Spider-Man' co-star Andrew Garfield - admits her numerous acting roles don't leave her much time for herself, so she tends to just relax at home when she's not working.

When asked what she does in her spare time, she said: "I just stay at home. A few people come over and I watch movies and I read and that's pretty much all I've got outside of work ... All I've been doing is working (lately) so I haven't been able to do that much outside of work."

Emma believes she is a workaholic because of the struggles she experienced early on in her career when she wasn't in demand as an actress and had to fight for every job she got.

Speaking in the new issue of Loaded magazine, she said: "I think I have this kind of non-stop neurotic awareness that it won't always be this way, and it hasn't always been this way.

"There have been periods of time throughout it all where it felt like the nature of being an actor is that you finish something and then you feel like you're never going to get another job again, and that doesn't really ever go away. It doesn't really matter what it is you last did. It always feels like your fingers are crossed and you're just waiting to see what's going to happen next. So I have a healthy amount of not believing that anything will continue past the next six months or something. Maybe that sounds horribly negative."
