The 26-year-old actress admits she's always wondered what happens after you've passed away and believes her morbid curiosity stems from her childhood and upbringing.

Speaking in Australia's Cleo magazine, the strawberry blonde beauty said: "I was always conscious that life is finite and was interested in really gloomy things like death, ghosts and cemeteries."

However, the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' star insists her dark thoughts on death have encouraged her to grab every opportunity with both hands because she's conscious nothing lasts forever.

She explained: "I was just a really crazy child. But there's also something positive about this attitude: when you are constantly aware that you will die one day, you appreciate life all the more and really live it to the fullest.

"I always try to act according to my belief, and my parents see things the same way. They supported me in my acting plans precisely because they believe you have to use your time well. That's also why my mother moved to Los Angeles with me when I was 15."

Emma went on to talk about her disorganised characteristic and how she's never felt 100 per cent confident about herself.

She said: "I'm totally the chaotic type and I'm often completely all over the place ... There are phases when I feel relatively confident, although my self-doubt never seems to disappear completely."
