Evan Rachel Wood admits she is going through a "hard" time following her split from Jamie Bell.
The 26-year-old actress, who confirmed on Wednesday (28.05.14) that she and the British actor had separated after 19 months of marriage, has hit back at rumours she "hooked up" with Michelle Rodriguez, who reportedly split from model Cara Delevingne recently.
The 'True Blood' star, who revealed she is bisexual in 2011, addressed the speculation in an angry rant on Twitter today (30.05.14), writing: "Looks like someone is already trying to start a rumour that I 'hooked up' with Michelle Rodriguez at 'An Evening With Women.'
"I have never even said 'hello' to Michelle Rodriguez."
She also shared a video of herself leaving the event in Beverly Hills alone on May 10 and added: "Complete lies made up to exploit a public separation, as if that isn't hard enough. Disgusting. "
Shortly after announcing their split, the actress, who has a 10-month-old son with Jamie, announced she was taking a "break" from her social media profile, but couldn't resist venting her frustration today.
But she later wrote: "Ok back to my twitter break."
Evan and former 'Billy Elliot' star Jamie, 28, released a joint statement this week, insisting they would remain friends.
Their spokesperson said: "This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."
