Harry Styles has reportedly splashed out £10,000 on an arty lamp designed by his jewellery designer pal Dominic Jones in a bid to make his home more fashionable.

Styles is reported to have spent the huge sum on an arty light feature designed by his jewellery designer pal Dominic Jones and artists Thomas Campbell and Joe Armitage - whose pieces are priced between £1,000 and £10,000 - in a bid to keep up with his fashionable friends including Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Harry's got a real eye for style and takes decorating his pad very seriously. He might be away a lot with the band, but he wants to make sure his home is really classy.

"He wants to show off his art to family and friends and is proud of his collection."

The bejewelled lamp - which featured in the designer's show at London Fashion Week on Monday (15.09.14) - is being completed while Harry is on tour in the US and will then be delivered to his four-bedroom home in north London.

The 20-year-old star - who is said to be worth an estimated £25million - already has an extensive range of art, valued at around £150,000.

Pieces in the 'Story of My Life' singer's collection include work by Bambi, the female Banksy, Polly Morgan and late Haitian-US artist Jean Michel Basquiat.

He's also said to be a fan of taxidermy and has some of Rory Dobner's work proudly displayed in his home.
