Iggy Azalea doesn't think it's not the artist's responsibility to be a role model, but understands she has an obligation "not to lead people down the wrong path."

Azalea 23, wants to see people have a good time at her gigs and doesn't think its her place to be preaching to fans on leading a prosperous life, its not her job.

She said in The Huffington Post UK: "Not every artist is a role model. I'm not f***ing driving around giving inspirational speeches about why you shouldn't smoke cigarettes - that's not what I wanted to do with my life.

There singer feels that role is is for those who's job and life mission is to do that. She has one aim and that is to be a great entertainer, and to do that she will need to be entertaining.

I hardly think me wearing short shorts on stage is creating monsters

The blonde artist understands her position as a star allows her to influence fans, but disaggres with those who say wearing revealing outfits on stage will create "monsters".

The star performed at a launch party for her latest single, 'Change Your Life', in London yesterday (14.10.13).
